This game opens up by giving the promise of arcadey western style all out action and it delivers.

Throughout the game you play as multiple characters but the main one of which is Red. The different characters have different 'Dead eye' moves. These vary from slow motion, Matrix style shootups, to massive cannon blasts. These are easily accessed by clicking the right thumbstick. Another main aspect to the game is the Shootout section. In this you have to do a, quick draw style period which involves the thumbsticks and the fire button. As for lifespan, this game doesn't last as long as it should however there is added stimulus for replay with unlockable multiplyer levels and extras for the single palyer game. It will also satisfy to play through the single player through 2 or 3 times to get the most out of it. However the best aspect of this game is the fact that it oozes Western, thanks to it being made by the fantastic Rockstar. From the excellent music to the similarly excellent plot this game has achieved everything t is supposed to be but nothing more. Ot lacks the certain uniqness that games like XII and Second Sight have in order to make it that little bit special. Invisible walls and a fairly short story make this game only slightly above the run of the mill, when it could have been so much more.
