Don't waste your time or money
Right at the start I was disappointed. The camera is virtually impossible to control, as are you. The game requires that you perform some rather daring acrobatics, like wall-running, swinging around with a grappling hook, and more--actually, the abilities that they give your character really do sound as though they'd be a lot of fun to use, but in the end the controls and the camera make all that could have been a blast more of an endless stream of frustration.
If the game has anything going for it, it's in its level design. There is a lot of variety, and most of the levels are very lush and colorful. The graphics aren't very good when it comes to you and your enemies, but the environments really are pretty awesome to look at. Unfortunately, rather than have an open-ended stealth game, most of the environments are linear, incredibly difficult platform-based stages that will have you screaming at the television to stop killing you. Fortunately, the boss fights are inventive, too. You won't win by attacking head-on. You usually need to use your brain a bit for these, and for that, the game is at least somewhat playable.
Of course, the game has some incredible shortcomings that make its good aspects nearly unnoticable. Enemy AI is nonexistant--if you are spotted by an enemy, you run twenty feet away, and they stop looking for you. Stealth is not the least bit necessary--not only that, but you practically have to stand right in front of a guard for him to spot you. And the ability to seduce guards is more laughable than useful, seeing as trying to seduce a guard just feels kind of silly and more often than not, it doesn't work (if a guard charges at you with his spear in the middle of your seduction speech, you'll still go on about how hot a day it is).
Pick up the first Tenchu instead. Yeah, I hate the first Tenchu, but it only costs a dollar and is infinitely better than this piece of crap.
