Good game, community is unplayable.
Acceptable graphics and sound.
Realistic weapons and vehicles.
Neat, different classes.
Long range rifle combat is fun.
Bought it for 5 bucks :)
Bad:
Worst community I've ever seen. The vast majority of the vet. players alter the shrubbery so you can't hide or they flat out cheat with the RO equivelant of wall hacking. There isn't a single populated server out there with all legit players. Utterly unplayable.
Really the vast amount of cheaters out there is the only downside to vanilla RO. Can't play 10 seconds without getting shot by a tank through 2 houses, while prone in shrubs, behind a tree.
The Darkest Hour mod is pretty interesting. I think it improves most of the infantry combat, but it also suffers from cheating. You simply can't combat enemies when you can't see them in the shrubs, but they have shrubbery disabled. :\ Also the weapons seem a bit inconsistent in DH. The allied rifles are noticably more accurate than the axis ones, in my experience.
Annnd thats about it.
