For all you Resident Evil fans and story junkies out there!
RE0 has the good graphics that Remake has. This game was supposed to come out for the Nintendo 64, but was cancelled and instead moved onto the Gamecube. The game answers some questions that RE fans might have had after they finished REmake. The questions 'How did the outbreak start?" and "How are there zombies in a mansion?" are answered in RE0.
In this game, you play as two at ONCE. Which means that you can control two characters, Rebecca Chambers and Billy Coen, simultaneously. To do switch between characters, a simple press of the X button will trigger the change. Billy has unique abilities such as moving heavier objects, the use of his lighter and reaching higher things. Rebecca on the other hand can mix herbs and other chemicals. You play both characters as you go through the story helping eachother out.
More enemies were also introduced. The plague crawler (an almost cockroach-looking bug), Exterminator (T-Virus infected ape), leeches, the Mimicry Marcus and many more. Bosses include a giant scorpion, Centurion (large centipede), a large bat, and the Mother Leech (two forms). Two zombies and other humanoid monsters can also bite a character at the same time.
Some parts of the game require a certain item such as the hookshot to advance further in the game. Without it, you cannot progress and have to backtrack if forgotten. This can get really aggravating since yo umight have to travel from the tunnels all the way to the training facility.
RE0 is a good game. Players might get the game for the sole purpose of completeing their RE collection, wanting answers, or becasue they heard its good. Re0 is for all you Resident Evil fans and story junkies out there!
