Best Resident Evil out there (haven't tried 4 yet!)

I got this game right when it came out. It was so fresh and scary, it was unlike anything I'd played before. RE2 was so much better done than the first one, it's rediculous. The CGI scenes rival many PS2 games, they're really gorgeous. And the voice acting all throughout the game is about B+. The scares and the story line are what really set RE2 apart from any other "scary" game. The story is really well written. And it's a long one too, it will take you many hours to get through. And there are scares just about everywhere in the game. I honestly wish they would remake this game like they did Metal Gear Solid, because that would make a truly wicked PS2 game. The only downfall with the game plagues the entire line of Resident Evils and many other survival horror games, it's the controls. The 3D controls from a stationary camera really suck and are annoying as hell. But, I enjoyed the game so much, that the controls aren't first on my mind when thinking about it. So, Resident Evil 2 is hugely worth whatever miniscule amount you'll pay for it. Any fan of the series can't call themselves a fan if they haven't played #2.
