The sequel to the game that (whether you admit it or not) scared the Sh*t outta us.

Can you imagine the pressure the developers had to create a sequel to one of the best games to ever grace the Playstation console? While I admit I had high expectations, I can honestly say that they did not dissapoint us. The game takes place after the events that took place at the Spencer Mansion. You play as Leon Kennedy who was just hired on as new police officer in Racoon City, what a day to start. Upon entering the city you learn that the virus that caused people to turn to zombies has indeed spread to the city. You team up with Claire Redfield, who is Chris Redfield's little sister, who is searching for her brother. You go through the city and uncover more information about what is causing the town's devistation.
Resident Evil 2 does not change what you loved about the first game. You have the same style of gameplay and they throw in new monsters to battle. The graphics at the time where amazing. The CG cut scenes looked great and they really help set off the story. The story is almost better than the original Resident Evil. It reveals some very important information that will answer some questions about the first one, and set you up for the 3rd Resident Evil. This game is truely a must have for any lover of survival horror games and is treasured by those who have played it.
