A true and excellent survival horror classic.

This game is one of the scariest, but best survival horror games ever made. Once you get past the occasionally frustrating tank controls and get into the deep story and excellent zombie scares, you will feel right at home even if you don't like the original. This is actually probably second only to RE4 when it comes to the cool factor. You play as Leon Kennedy or Claire Redfield in Raccoon City, trying to survive a zombie outbreak. You spend a lot of your time exploring the environments, but you always have that feeling that the next scare is just a minute or less away. The graphics are outdated, but were considered good at the time. And even today, the voice acting, which is much better than that of RE1 is great. The story is cool and engaging, and ultimately, it is no wonder that this series, particularly this game has managed to create such a cult following and subculture. In conclusion, I just want to say, that if you claim to like survival horror games, or having the crap scared out of you, and you haven't at least played this game, you are missing out.
