Even if this is just a port, it's still a good game. If you haven't played Resident Evil 2 before and you own a Game Cube, then you can:
Rent it, if you aren't sure
Buy it, if you really like the game.
The good thing, that it comes with only one CD, so no more annoying Disc changing.
Controls are little weird for the first, but you will learn them in time. It's a shame that the GC version lacks the 180 degree turn.
Graphics are still bad, compared to the Remake or Resident Evil Zero.
Sounds are gone bad someway, you can hardly even hear what the characters are talking from the BGM.
You still have the 4th Survivor and the Extreme Battle mode, which is good.
Not bad game, but it could have been improved. Even tough it's still Resident Evil 2.
