Very entertaining horror, and one of the best in the series.

Resident Evil 2.............truly one of my favorite games, and is a really good thriller. However, the weak-hearted might be frightened here and there, but anyone who likes horrors should own this game. You patrol the depths of Racoon City, which has been infested with zombies carrying the T-Virus, which causes the transfrormation. The game starts out in the streets of Racoon City, after Leon Kennedy ( A new recruit to the Racoon City police force)has realized he is deserted with Claire Redfield (Sister of Chris Redfield, from the first Rsident Evil.). I would explain more, but i do not want to spoil the storyline, which is GREAT might I add. Well afterwards, you end up in the local police station, and encounter hundreds of zombies and mutated beings. This provides all of the horror and suspence in the game. Not to forget, the occasoinal puzzle comes along, and this requires you to think, like most of the Resident Evil games. From there the game goes on, and you run into other survivors and enimies, as you try to escape from the deadly Racoon City. Anyway, the gameplay in this game never gets old. Who doesn't like walking down a quiet hallway, the zombies come out of the next corner? Twards the climax in the game, the game requires you to act faster as you adventure, so you might want to get used to reloading when the time comes. This game provides an awesome survive-or-die feel to it, which makes any horror game incredible. However, you might get a pinch bored of running around, trying to find the room that has a specific key item you need to pass. (You do this often in the game.) Also, you have the choice of playing as Claire Redfield or Leon Kennedy on two different discs, but whoever you play as first, the game is always going to be harder when you play as the second character. The graphics in the game are enjoyable, but the characters do look very pixelated at times. However, the enviroments are well done, considering its a Playstation. The music in this game can sometimes make you jump out of your seat! This is great because it increases the suprise when somthing jumps out at you, or in a scary encounter in the game. Even the sound effects can make you feel a little uneasy in a quiet room.........
Also, its funny how the footsteps follow a specific pulse, if you haven't noticed it Overall, the game is pretty great, and a great job by Capcom. But, this is only the second in a series, so theres more to love! (If you liked this game) Well, thanks for reading my review, and I hope you enjoy Resident Evil 2, one of the best thrillers out there!
