While the graphics are a total letdown and sound is quite annoying, the game itself is impressive and even addicting.

For 20 dollars, I'd say this is worth the buy. Resident Evil 3 is a good game. Definitely not the best though. Because of Gamecube's higher resolution than PS1 and N64, the resolution of the game is bigger, giving the player to view more space. Yet, there is 1 MAJOR problem. THE GRAPHICS. This is another failure that could've put many RE fans into the pool of RE gaming. I have no clue why Capcom didn't even bother to update the graphics. Nor why they tried to put it into a gamecube version. Resident Evil 1 and 0 are better bets because even though RE3 acquires good gameplay, the graphics are a major difference. The gameplay is still good like any other RE. But the sound is like waxing your ears. It makes a cheesy noise like it did in 1996. RE3 doesnt improve graphics or sound. Still, RE3 can be impressive in its ways. Its price is one thing, and the game itself is fun as hell. Its actually addicting. It's like playing a down-toned version of RE1. The game is still a good game even though it uses old-fogey technology.
