Nemesis is like your shadow

As some of you know, i'm a great RE fan, i have 4 main chapters, the movie trilogy, cg animated movie and i am not ever tired of this stuff i collected, However, when i recently traded for this game, i was quite sceptical about, i wanted at all costs a RE set in Raccoon city. RE2 (that i owned and played a lot) never won over me, it really was without real new elements despite first game, the controls were untouched for worse and i didn't like the puzzles i found quite silly in comparison to original game,
This chapter, altough, won over me at maximum range since i consider it the second best RE game ever produced, preceeded only from REmake (exclusive GC game i already reviewed some year ago).
Suspension is quite touchable from the beginning of the adventure where great music introduces you to a no time to lose final escape. Guiding Jill Valentine, one of my fav characters, is a neat touch and most importantly new actions performed are really welcome. Jill is now able to avoid and dodge attacks, moreover she can rotate herself in 180 degrees and change front of direction with the combination of down and run, this fondumental move is really great and we can find it still in successive series installments. Now we can say this game introduces new elements to controls.
The real new element in this game is the lack of safety. Since the beginning Jill is now attacked from different zombies at once and very times still. Town is reproduced in one perfect way, and the fact you move from a single area to a different area in constant way, and well documented from maps you can find easily,
a instant you are in a Bar for a small but delicate struggle, a moment after you are to a gasoline, and then still and still,,,this makes really evident the fact you are in a town and not stuck in a prison (see RE2). Many shocks follow but the thing more bestial in Jill's quest remain infact the encounters with the tough to die Umbrella biomachine Nemesis. It pursues you in every where and it seems never tired to fight, instead it becomes always more powerful and it is anyway a totally different fight. Before these fights have beginning you have to choose fast if face the monster and in some cases, serve the scenario to your favour, or try to escape from its jaws. Sincerely to attempt a escape from the monster is equivalent to a suicide, because it pursues until it is not down, but then it come back come back come back.
From it is quite evident the fact this game is totally different game than the original was, infact the original game was most oriented on investigation while here is a real escape for the survival, An experience to try.
