I finally finished Resident Evil 4, not that i wanted it to end, and i think it beat my favorite game for how awesome it is. Resident Evil 4 is not really related to the other Resident Evil games. You'll get to play as Leon again though. OK, Leon is one of the few survivors of the Raccoon City destruction. After a day of being a cop, you are now hired to work as a secret service agent for the president. When his daughter gets kidnapped by some strange unknown folk, Leon is sent on a rescue mission to rescue her. The game takes place in spain, by the way. As he arrives, everything goes terribly wrong. His partners are killed and now he is by himself in a village surrounded by parasites. One of the reasons i like this game is that i love the story. It's brilliant-minded and it's a big story. Enough about the story. Let's talk about the gameplay. Resident Evil 4 isn't like the other RE games, because in the other RE games you had limited ammo. In this game, you have tons of ammo. Stiill, it's not like there won't be times when you're out of ammo in really frustrating parts of the game. You'll have tons of guns provided to you as well from a merchant, from who you can buy health, weapons, armor, and other different kinds of things. Then, you can also tune up your weapons, or sell stuff that you have in your attache case. Let me tell you that this is an extremely gory game and it's not for the light-hearted. There are tons of gory death scenes and if you don't mind blood and gore, then you will love how detailed it is. It is a pretty long game. It took me from 20-21 hours to beat this game. Also, after you beat this game and remember this is only the PS2 and PC version, there are extras which include the Seperate Ways mini-game which you take the role of Ada and find out what you didn't get in the main game. Then there's two other mini-games. There is Assignment Ada and there is Mercenaries. In Mercenaries, you have to gain as much points, which is recieved by killing more and more ganados [parasite people], as possible before your evac arrives. In Assignment Ada, you play as Ada again and it takes place on the same island island that Leon went to to rescue Ashley, the president's daughter. There's more extras including a movie browser where you can view all the cutscenes from the game. But remember, you can only access these extras after you beat the main game. So, good luck and have good time.
