This game is in many ways, perfect. The graphics are outstanding with the high level of detail put into all areas and the monsters themselves which are amazingly, creatively designed. The completely revolutionized style of gameplay with the rotating third person and red line for sight were excellent additions. The camera can be a little too fixed at times, but it always makes sure you see everything you need to. The sound can make you more than scared at times, when you're walking around a bend and you hear a chainsaw start up or dogs start growling. Well beyond the classics that you're used to. If you are a fan of the resident evil series, this will be way beyond your expectations. If you are new to the series, there's definitely no better time to start. This is an absolute "must buy" game. Well worth the $50 price tag. My ratings are: Gameplay (10): The new style of gameplay is very fresh and keeps you fully in control, much more than the older games of the series. The game is fully action packed and keeps you on your toes through the whole game (which is much longer than the others). Graphics (10): The graphics are absolutely superb. The detail is amazing and the load times are extremely fast. Excellent display of the gamecube's capabilities. Sound (10): Excellent. They obviously spent a very long time making some very accurate sounds and good dialog from the characters. Not to mention, the complete connection of the voice and the mouth movement. Value (10): Even at $50, this is well worth the price. It is a long quest and non stop through all of it. Reviewer's Tilt (10): I found this game to be basically- perfect.
