A revolutionary sequel to the series

Ok so the Resident Evil series was liked and disliked through the years. The "true" sequels like RE2 and RE3 have been liked. But I found many of the side stories to be kinda boring. So here's another true sequel. RE4 Graphics: Now graphics to me make the game more fun. It's not fun playing a game that visually looks boring. RE4 is the first game to use the Gamecube's power to full potentional. The characters models are excellent. Double the polygon count than the PS2. Leon looks more mature and more strong. Also the environments look awesome. But the best thing about the graphics is the enemies. Not the villagers but the El Gigante and the De Lago. Simple amazing. 10/10 Sound: Ok. Not much to note. Voice acting is decent. All the voices fit the characters. The background music isn't really noticed much though. It's this ambient tune looping. 8/10 Gameplay: This is where the Revolution takes place. The shooting is now a behind Leon's shoulder view. Which allows better aiming. Though the characters still move like tanks I can bear with. The enemies now have key hit zones where it affects their bodies. Like if you shoot someone in the leg they will fall to their knees or just fall flat on their face. The Action button or the "A" button is widely used. You can kick, push, catch and suplex, yes suplex with this one button. It is used in game and after the cutscenes too. The Inventory is completely reworked so the items you carry actually take space. So you will have to move them to make them fit nicely. Leon will be given a wide variety of weapons including handguns, shotguns, rifles, explosives, magnums etc. So there's a lot to play with. You can upgrade weapons too. Such as their firepower or their fire rate, or reload time. Even ammo capacity. After upgrading everything there's an exclusive update for each weapon. Such as 100 ammo for the Striker. So this one game alones is near perfection. I wonder what took so long to make a game like this. 9/10 Story: The main concept of the story is to save the President's daughter. Also to find what the hell happened to the villagers that made them act so hostile. Most of the game is an escort mission so beware. 9/10 Replay Value: This game is a good 10 to 20 hours long. One reason to play again is to upgrade weapons all the way. Collect treasure. Or just for the hell or killing villagers. 9/10 All in all this game is revolutionary and will be in my game library forever.
