Resident Evil 4 being the first of the series I've ever played, it without a doubt blew me away with its unprecedented graphics, gameplay, sound value and tilt. The first thing that you will notice about Resident Evil 4 is its breathtaking graphics. Every texture in the game is highly detailed and will never cease to amaze you. The cinematics are outstanding, as the graphics in the cutscenes are the exact same as the actual gameplay itself. I hate games where the cutscenes are gorgeous but the graphics in the actual gameplay suck. The new gameplay style is innovative and unique which will in time, let you take advantage of all your arsenal. Although there isn't any strafe, the game's style won't need you to strafe and all the controls feel perfect for the type of manner for this game. Especially in the times of pressure, you must button mash to advance or survive the moment. This really implies well to the situation at hand as it's like someone in a struggle for survival. Now the sound, in this game is really something else, as I've never actually played a game with this phenomenal sound. It's really astounding to hear exactly when or where your enemies are, and if just are just on the verge of piercing you with a pitch fork from behind. This really plays an essential role in the game sometimes when you need to hear how close your enemies are. Next, I'm gonna talk about the value. The length of this game is really great because it will definitely last you a long time - assuming that you don't have a super short attention span... But for regular folks, this game would last for a good amount of time, since there so many features that you unlock once you beat the game once. For example, when you beat the game, you unlock minigames, which even further expand the depth in the storyline. Conclusively, this is among the best of games to date and will offer a mind-blowing adventure for gamers out there looking for a challenge. I absolutely recommend that you buy this awesome game.
