Where should I begin... Resident Evil games have come a long way dating back to 1996 when RE1 hit the saturn and offered everything good about a horror movie only three times better. It put you in the uniform of Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield as they explored a huge mansion owned by umbrella. As you may have guessed numerous zombies and creatures soon began to terrorize the young STARS team. Over the course of that game there were several challenging puzzles you had to complete which required both skill and determination. These zombies and puzzles were the main focus of RE1, 2, 3, Code Veronica, and any other RE games that did not quite fall into the main plot of the series. Nearly 6 years after the incident at Racoon city, a new threat announces itself. The president's daughter is kidnapped and taken to a mysterious island in Spain. Leon Kennedy (the protagonist), is immediately sent there to check things out. Soon after his arrival, he is ambushed by crazed villagers. And so another chapter of the Evil series begins. Gameplay: 9/10 +action, and lots of it! +lots of weapons that you can UPGRADE! +a lot of enemy types -puzzles seem nonexistent -so do the keys -too linear Basically it's a whole new game. But some challenging puzzles would have made it better. Graphics: 10/10 +Amazing textures +Amazing Models +Amazing art direction and level design Sound: +Weapons sound just right +Music is dark and fits the mood nicely Value: +Mini games galore +20 hours first time through +Reaplayability With this new direction that capcom has taken, they better incorporate more stuff on the side rather than just a ton of endless action.
