One of the greatest consol games ever made.

This game is my personal favorite consol game. I'm a huge MGS and Zelda fan, I dig most of the big franchises, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Final Fantasy, Tales series, Metroid, and still this games is insanely good. From the first moment you start playing the stunning real time graphics, and spot on play control had me hooked. The music pounding as the crazy villagers swarmed me, you run into the house, push the dresser in front of the door and then a guy with a sack on his head starts up a chain saw and starts coming....and thats just the beginning. Ada, Krauser, the thing in the lake (if you havent played it or havent tried, pop off a few round into the water from the dock before you head out its worth it), stunning graphics, great enviorments, it has it all. The boss battles are on point (only complaint i have is the final battle could have been better). The El Gigantes, the Regenerators, the creepy bugs, the whole bag. This game has more holy @#$! moments then any game ive ever played, getting your head sawed off with the chain saw, climbing the bell tower only to have the villagers start lobbing molotov cocktails at you, the thing in the lake, the el gigante, the fight in the barn, the house, wtf two el gigantes, the regenerator impaling me on his spikes which i didnt even know he had, i could keep going. Gone is the frustrating play control of Resident Evils past, now you have spot on play control, only thing missing is a general action button and letting you strafe, but im sure the designers consdered that. Considering i played this before metroid prime, i kept trying to quickturn in it. Get it and play it.
I hear the PS2 version has some nice extras, but i watched someone play it for the first time yesterday, get the cube for it, or by it at launch with the Wii
its worth it.
