now this is the way to go with resident evil. this game is the reason i cant wait for RE 5. the controls from the original series did get annoying at times and these controls are the way to go from now on. superb game play hands down. you always have to be on your feet and hands. if your looking for a great game for the ps2 go with this game and i promise you wont have a hint of regret. there is much to do even after you beat the game, you get new costumes and new guns which are all awesome you can never go wrong with more guns. whenever you think of resident evil think of this game before the others. if you haven't played this game because your a classic RE fan, you wont be disappointed with this game even if its not a direct sequel.
