Be prepared to gasp in awe more times than you thought possible in a single game. Resident Evil 4 is indeed the shot in the arm the series needed. After slogging my way to the end of RE Zero I had pretty much had my fill of that RE style of gameplay. You know what I'm talking about. Though I found that style ok for FIVE RE games, a change was definitely needed. And change it did, to stunning effect. I'm talking tense, white-knuckle action and suspense the likes of which have never been seen before. The great presentation is the icing on the cake, with amazing visuals and sound that will make you look at your Gamecube a little differently. If you're mature enough to handle it, you just can't go wrong with Resident Evil 4.
