After more then 5 years, here comes Resident Evil 4. First of all the gameplay has been totally re-done, what I mean is that it changed completly. Now you have a certain space to put your weapons, bullets, and recovering items. The aimming system is just perfect, you can shoot at any part of the body and the enemy has a different reaction depending on where you shoot, and at the begining you might feel bothered cuz you can't move while shootin', but after a while you'll like that. And now you don't need to go to the start screen to reload a weapon, you can do that normally, but be careful!! You can't move while reloadin' too!! So it's always good to keep your weapons reloaded. The Graphics are perfect, no other word can describe them. In my opinion, the only game that has better graphics then this one is Half Life 2, if you have an exelent PC. The explosion, the fire, and the water are just perfectly designed, getting really, really close to reallity. The main character, Leon S. Kennedy, is composed by 11,000 poligons, and just to compare, Solid Snake, in Metal Gear Solid 3, has 4,000. The music helps you keep scared, cuz the spooky music only starts when there are enemies around or in a boss. Talking about bosses, there are more in this game, comparing with the rest of the serie. Another thing is that this is the hardest Resident Evil ever, it's normal to die 15 times at the first chapter. This game is pretty lenghty, the adeventure takes about 20-25 hours, but after you finish it you get lots of extras, like "assigment ada", witch is a small misson where you control Ada, and also "merceneries", where you need to kill as many enemies as possible in a limited amount of time. It had a long time since i played an action game as good as this one, i assure you this is the game of the year, and the best RE ever.....it's worth every penny. If you like action games, survival horror, challenging games, or even better, if you like VIDEOGAMES, play this game for your own good.
