RE4 is hands down the best game of the new millennium. Although I am a fan favorite of RE2 (which just happens to also star Leon Kennedy) RE4 is in a league of it's own. Where RE2 capitalized on the control scheme of the first game RE4's unique control system allows you to fully enjoy this innovative game; which takes the series to new and extreme heights.

I must comment on the story which is by far the best of all RE titles. For those new to the RE series it brings in a fresh storyline while including characters from older titles to keep the purists happy. I specifically like the "Los Iluminados" theme which gives Umbrella time to rebuild and perhaps even join forces.

The game-play can be summed up to be intense and intelligent. The puzzle element remains true although a bit tedious at times.

I recommend everyone partake in this modern masterpiece and for all the Gamecube owners to go one more round on the PS2.
