Something special here...
When the game gets started, you immediately notice the new camera view. The 'over-the-shoulder' camera view is a much better configuration, which almost puts you into the shoes of Leon, and you can attempt to hit the enemies in key points, which adds to the whole shoting experience. For example, a head-shot usually finishes an enemy at oce, but you need some good experience from shoting games to always make the head-shot. If you're a bullet saver, shooting their legs usually makes their leg fall off, giving you the oppurtunity to quickly run past.
The enemies, are not your typical zombie that you have noticed from any other resident evil game. They are far more intelligent, and faster, giving the experience more tension, as you have to use some tactical skills sometimes, to save bullets and get past the enemies. If you are out-numbered, the enemy will try to surround you, giving no chance of escaping, and sometimes try to dodge you as fire the bullets. They area also much faster, and they usually run after you, giving you almost no time to think of a way to escape, except to shoot.
The enemies are also much varied, from basic farmers, who you see almost throughout the whole game, who have pitchforks, and like to attack in packs. We also have some farmers with syths, who sometimes actually throw them at you. Later in the game, we also have these priest guys, who are very scary, they murmer to eachother, always attack in groups, and sometimes have crossbows and armour.
The bosses on this game give you the best gaming experience in a game. These vary from a monster in a lake, to massive trolls that needs all the tactics you have to beat.
This game is really something amazing, Capcom have turned somewhat a dying series, to a new, refreshed title that will have you coming back for more. This has one of the best graphics on the Nintendo Gamecube, and once you have completed it, the extra options, and a hard mode will have you playing this over and over again.
