Not so Resident Evil like, but still a good game.
Great 3D game where the camera is behind the characters shoulder, it's pretty interesting idea, now you can see further away. Also I like the Merchant system, where you can buy and sell things, but it still doesn't fit for Resident Evil. The game is pretty long, too.
Graphics look great for a 3D game.
The sounds are good, and the voice acting has improved quite well, but the cheesy quotes are something what makes the game so unrealistic. The music is OK.
Most of the puzzles are very simple ones, I only remember one frustrating puzzle, that it was somewhere in the Castle's "basement".
You get a great replay value unlocking The Mercenaries or the Assignment Ada, if you beat these you can get more weapons for the next round you start the Original game.
The story sucked compared to the older Resident Evils. Overall the game is good, however it lacks the tense of the old Resident Evil. It's good that the Capcom took a big step forward, but this step was way too big, that they erased the Horror of the series and made it into an Mindless Action. This game didn't scare me once, but it sure made the game fun nevertheless.
