Many thought it couldn't be done but Capcom did it! RE4 is on the PS2 and it's looking good!
However, the graphics are a little less impressive on the PS2 (jaggies, less lighting effects and less detail). What really upsets me is how you can tell it's a port. I mean it is still a pritty game but it does fall flat in some areas. For instance, everything looks dull. Although the cut-scenes are still in PS2 graphics you can see a slight improvement in the scenes.
The sound seems to suffer a little bit too but it can be dealt with by playing with sound settings in your stereo or sound system. Oh,and you guys guessed it, it has loading. Those of you who've played the GCN version will notice that there are loading points in this game that weren't even present in the GCN version. Also the interactive cut-scene seem less seemless with the slight pause in them...
Nonetheless, this is an impressive game. If you played it on the GCN you should still play it on the PS2. If you haven't played it... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR???
