The transition from the GC to the PS2 was a very smart move.
Game play is some of the best of any Resident Evil game, if anyone complains about the camera angle views and such, remember that you can move the view around. While still keeping the same concept of previous Resident Evils as well, not being in first-person for shooting was the best move for the game play here. Shooting is made easier with the inclusion of laser guidance, which will help with long range shooting if you don't have a rifle.
With nice transitions from chapter to chapter the storyline will never get dull through your first time playing through, and maybe ever if you love it that much. With brand new characters poping up around every corner and old friends to keep you busy this will keep you wondering who is good and bad after-all, because who doesn't like plot-twists.
If you are a fan of the series, you need to buy this game, if you aren't, at least give it a rent, if your are pesimistic about the controls and camera angle get over yourself and realize not everything will go your way. This is a great game, for the PS2 and the GC.
