Resident Evil 4 is without doubt the best game in the series. I didn't play the GC version but from what I see it is a revolution in gameplay and technology (and oh yes, you are hearing this from a guy who plays Quake 4 on "Ultimate Quallity" setting =]). It is a giant leap from the RE we used to know, and it's originality, from my point of view that is what makes RE4 so damn good. The sound is fantastic, you really get the chills when you hear a chainsaw in a distance, graphics look really good (not only by ps2 standarts). But what makes RE4 specal - is the new gameplay. It is creapy, acton-packed, and fun. Anyone with a GC or a PS2 should deffinatelly check it out - it is hands down one of the best games this year. If you have even a decent interest in games, you should definately check it out. It is only ashame that Xbox users don't have a chance to enjoy this game =]. All in all, Resident Evil 4 is simply one of the greatest games in this generation
