Graphics:
I have one word, amazing ! I found the graphics to be better than almost every Xbox game, backgrounds, characters had a perfect mixture of color as well as grey. The enviornments are fantastic to work around and the smooth textures are awsome to look at. As i play on a HDTV with component cables, i did not experience any jagged edges at all. Another thing that totally amazed me was how we were able to enjoy this high level of realism, without even 5 seconds of loading anywhere in the game. Just amazing !
Sound:
If you have a 5.1 or 7.1 Surround sound system, this will scare the crap out of you ! Gunshots sound very real and wonderful background music is added in just the right places to add to the scare factor. Adding to all this are the mysterious spanish words that the 'villagers' silently muffle.Monsters sound great and i loved the voice over of Leon Kennedy.
Gameplay:
I have never had more fun playing a game ever, i am dead serious. The new point and shoot system is just soo much fun ! All guns are equiped with lasers, so you can point at different body parts of your enemys and beat them down slowly with pleasure. Trust me, you will never get tired of pointing that laser around and shooting anything in sight. Almost everything in your surroundings you can interact with which adds a nice touch to the aldready awsome experience. To me , the camera angles were never a problem and i thought that the entire game ran smoothly without any glitches.
Story:
I feel that the story line of this game has been better than any other game in the series. Zombies, Crazy Village People, Weird Preists or really cool spider Monsters, they'r all the same. Having a different villian to fight was a nice change. From the beginning, the game throws you into the center of the action. With tens or hundreds of villagers running towards you at once, chills will run down your spine as you blow their heads of one by one with your magnum.
Overall:
THE best game for the Gamecube would be an understatement. This game is right up there and even higher than classic games such as Halo and the Grand Theft Auto Series, nothing compares to it. The game will easily give you 25 to 30 hours of solid gameplay after which you get 3 unlockable mini games which are as fun to play too. Not only this, you would also like to go through the entire game again in your new S.T.A.R.S costume, on ultra hard level which could only mean doble the fun, and also ensure that you unlock everything there is to in the game. The game can easily last you till RE5 !
Anyone who chooses another over this game to purchase for their Gamecube, should visit the doctor.Beg, borrow, steal, do anything to get this game, trust me, you will NOT regret it.
