This is by far the greatest resident evil game ever made. it would be so hard to top this. It was about time they brough a proper residnet evil game to playstation 2 after evrything else they made par code veronica that was good step away from the main story. the story in this game is excellent and thank god umbrella had something to do with it it just wouldnt be resident evil without umbrella. the story is great and sets it up to produce another game to follow up this one. the gameplay in the stroy is by far the best part of it. the new view lets you actually see whats around every corenr although that was a signature part of resident evil but is still a welcome edition. the laser sight is the best thing anyone ahs come up with breaks away from the traditional crosshair or in resident evil games the auto -aim. although it is hard to aim properly as you cant see the laser from far away it adds an element of true life to it. The length of the game was good it was long enough to keep you satisfied but short enough that you didnt get bored of it and each section was different from the last. The new "zombies" are excellent and makes the game very different to the slow moving unintelligent zombies of the other games these guys can actually climb up ladders its awsome. The game however seems to shy away from puzzles andmakes them alot simpler and focuses more on the action would like to see some more challening puzzles. The value of thius game is huge almost like san andreas youll b playing over and over and the seperate ways and assignement ada parts are very nice touches to an already brilliant game. The sounds and graphics are just brilliant although the ganando's models are not verygood up close but awsome far away.the women ganando looks brilliant far away with blood and evrything. the sound is also great you can almsot feel the power of the gun as it fires and the music is a nice touch to set the mood of the game and whats happening like in all resident evils. but finally i found the game to be alittle easy apart from the krauser battle which was prbably perfect difficulty and was evern easy on proffesional mode as the bosses died a little easy but killing the gandos and other crwatures were perfect the bosses seemd usless in the difficulty to kill just too easy. finally this is a fantastic game and has alot of lasting value to check out youll be playing it over and over to unlock new secrets.
