ALMOST a 10 but... not quite

Its about time Capcom got smart and placed Resident Evil 4 were it belonged: on the PS2. Anyway, this is classic Survival Horror style gameplay at its finest. In fact, I think its the best in the Resident Evil series! Long gone are the stupid zombies from the last games, these new Ganados are smart ( well, maybe just a little smarter).The new aiming system takes some time to get adjusted to but when you do, you'll wonder why they never used it before! However, I found escorting to be annoying since Ashely couldn't do Jack but it was minimal. The Gamecube version is more generous with items than the PS2 but this is still a must play game. Good story, great action,great graphics, o.k. puzzles this IS the resident evil to own! Its so close to perfect but .... well check out the highs and lows:
Pros: New aiming system, 3-D environment, cool enemies and better bosses.
Cons: Controls still need work. Turn speed is freakin' slow which can make heated battles frustrating. Despite the votes on the G4TTV Filter show this game IS NOT THAT BLOODY! It was on Gamecube for goodness sake! So, its still feels like B-rated horror flick.
Neutral: The " use money to purchase weapons and upgrades" system was not necessary.
