one fo the best games ive ever played and ever made easily. game of the year for sure. a must buy at any cost.

ive never played the gamecube version so i cant compare them. im reviewing this as if it never debuted on the gamecube. This game is by far the best game all year and one of the best ever made, its got scary pant wetting moments when you face the chainsaw sisters or el gigante [ big giant guy.]. the bad camera angles have been ditched for a free roaming more useful camera and the new free aiming mode lets you control more of the game. first the bad, the sound isnt bad in fact its very scary and the ambient gun sounds seem believable[the first time i walked into the viallge in the beggining i looked at them and saw them acting out thier normal lives but i knew something wasnt right and then i look some mroe and saw a dead body impaled on flames]. the voice acting is just okay this time around and could have bean done better[that alone makes the v.o. much better than any of its predessesors]. now the good, EVERYTHING!!!! the fact that every enemy is very smart in every fashion they will throw things at you and come up close and personal. the bosses all seem scary and big enough to be the final boss in the whole entire game. the graphics if you havent gone blind or poked your eyes out recently is amazing and is only surpassed by the source engine and the doom 3 engine. as for replay value, the new ada wong missions are very original and give you a new look as how leon made it out of some very tight spots. the mercenarys mission pack lets fight against some of the same enemys but harder now!, it also lets you fight against a guy who make leatherface from texas chainsaw massacre look like a wounded animal blinded with his legs cutoff. another fact about the game is that you will want to lay this over and over again. in fact i DARE you to play this only once. all in all its better then halo2, doom3, quake4, [as good as half-life2] and while not more scary then deffinitly more fun then F.E.A.R.. a must buy
