Resident Evil was once thought of as no more after Nemesis, but things changed.

User Rating: 9.4 | Resident Evil 4 PS2
When Resident evil first shipped across to the United Kingdom a.k.a Scotland, knowone really new what to expect. Maybe yet another action shooter/adventure. Many people thought that this would be no different from many other games but boy were they wrong, the game revamped and altered third person action/adventure with a whole new outlook on these games for many years to come. Resident evill had a whole new range of things such as the wide range of weapons and the new backgrounds that were of stunning quality for a game of its time. The game also introduced new bosses that were well designed. Due to these facts and many other attachments Resident evil became an excellent game and also very much talked about for its gameplay and well designed Bosses that were sometimes hard to kill.

Due to the excelent reviews and ratings Capcom received, they brought out a second and third game for the Playstaion, these had just as big an impact as before if not even bigger. After Resident Evil 3 known as Resident Evil Nemisis, people started to think that there would be no more games to follow, as many thought it would just be a trilogy and nothing else. After months of gaming hours, adjustments and planning they came up with an unexpected fourth game that was to make everyone wonder how this new game was going work and also if it would be worth buying yet another. If you've been waiting for this version, Resident Evil 4 it is a long-overdue evolution of the flagship series of survival horror. It keeps a lot of the same stuff or trappings of the Resident Evil series--characters, plotlines, healing items, ammunition conservation, giant monsters who need blasted with large guns--but reinvents the game as a rock-hard action shooter.

The next fifteen to twenty hours represent one of the fiercest challenges of this console generation. To be honest this is very much hardcore action gaming at its finest, and repeated playthroughs have only made me appreciate its design all the more. As Leon, you'll take on hundreds of possessed villagers, horrifying monsters, possessed animals, and gun-wielding mercenaries, en route to a final showdown with the mutated master of a doomsday cult.

This is one for the Hardcore Resident evil fans even for people who have not touched the serious of Resident evil titles, its a must have. So splash out some spare money on this got to have game and you will be glad you did.
