My favorite game by far...
User Rating: 10 | Resident Evil 4 PS2
Where could I possibly start to write about this amazing game? Well, to start off I'd like to say that I have played almost all of the resident evil games and this one makes the others look like little school girls. Not because of the scare factor, but because of the adrenalin that builds up inside of you during game play. That might be the only fault in this game, that it is not the scariest of the series. It is however an insanely addictive game that I spent weeks on end playing...that was a lot of sleep lost to this game, but nothing I regret. Your character throughout the game is the S.W.A.T. team's Leon S. Kennedy, who was caught in the raccoon city infestation and is now fighting his way through Spain on a top secret assignment to save the president's daughter Ashley Graham. I couldn't help but think that if this mission is so important, than why did they only send one person to handle it? But I did not let this thought ruin the game play and amazing graphics, sound, and feeling altogether. With a steady pace and some time of your own to spend on the game, I find that it takes a good 12 to 15 hours to fully complete the game once. But the fun doesn't end there, after beating the game you can start a new one with all of you weapons and items from the end of you last game. Additionally, you have the option to buy the Chicago Typewriter, a machine gun with limitless ammunition. There are also costumes to unlock once you've beaten the game three times in total; you have unlocked the Chicago Typewriter, the Rocket launcher with no ammo limit, and special costumes one and two. But if you just got done beating the game once, you might want to consider looking under the extras on the main screen. There's the Assignment Ada mission, Different ways, The Mercenaries, and a movie gallery too. Sadly, some of these things are not on the game cube version of the game. I'll warn you again, do not start this game with the intension of stopping in ten minutes, it will seriously mess up your definition of the word "Addiction". Having said this...I HIGHLY recommend this game!
