Forget what you knew about the original ResEvil games...I garantee you, this will plunge you head first into the Action!
WTF have i missed?....Lots that what!
After taking control of Leon again...i actually found Resident Evil 4 to be seriously unpredictable...when it comes to action and gameplay, One minute you're being mauled by a horde of zombies, then the next minute, A Context-Sensitive button, pops up to tell you you can perform a space clearing kick routine, talk about a life saving close call.
When i say Unpredictable...i mean like never the same....in any upcoming areas you advance into, and also...just when you think you're about to run out of ammo for your pistol, there's always hope with the Knife and the kick routines, Saved my ass Many a time in this ferocious game....NEVER LET YOUR GUARD DOWN...OR ELSE!!
Resident Evil 4 is incredibly fresh in regards to its gameplay, even if it does retain some of it's Predecessor games charms...like the map, the inventory system, and even the Journal system is in there.
The thing i mostly liked about Resident evil 4 was the fact it didn't feel like another regular 1st person shooter, it, like i said previously, feels more like something new and never seen before...which we as a community don't see every day........it's pleasing, as this industry already has so many Crap games in circulation.
I for one, was a little skeptical about ResEvil 4 at 1st, but soon disregarded my concerns upon a session which lasted hours....and after playing, I was left feeling satisfied.
If more games gave me this feeling....i wouldn't be so skeptical about new game release!
Resident Evil 4 deserves EVERY POINT OF IT'S SCORE!!
If you're planning on getting a Gamecube, make RE4 your 1st game to buy if you're wanting an action fix!
