Gamespot should include a PC Requirement score. Cause it scores a 9.9 in Graphics VS Requirement, which most game failed
1. Graphics
Unlike most games, such as Crysis and Grand Theft Auto 4, which looks superb in consoles. But you will be badly dissapointed cause both game engine have such high requiremnt that PC gamers have to spend additional money to buy expensive graphic card just to meet the base requirement. If you stuck in a Ladtop with 256 DDR3 ATi Radeon like me, you will never enjoy the beauty of the game. Resident Evil 5 suceeded which both game failed, produce a game that has lower requirement but still bring out most of the games beauty. I was able to play the game smoothly without suffering any lags at all. Although the lowest resolution in game is 800 x 600, it can be adjusted manually to 640 x 480 in the save files thanks to the configuration that share in Window live. 640 x 480 resolution on suffer the smaller cut scene but overrall barely affected the game.
2.Gameplay
Honestly speaking, its difficulty that set you from a cake walk to hardcore gameplay. Which allow casual gamer have the excitement while actually play the game easily while keeping the hardcore gamers high on thier mouse or gamepad on the edge to dodge extremely tough enemies. I'm still playing the game so I can't tell much but overall, its a very enjoying.
3.AI
Although many complaints Sheva is a bad AI, but I found out that most players will charge towards thier opponent to actually escape form them. Having you running towards the enemies will actually confuse the AI control Sheva as in logical its impractical to run towards your enemy while they are attacking you. Though the Majini AI is a little slower, it makes the game less stressful and able to keep some space to catch a breath. I guess you should be a little less complaint if your partner is an AI. If not, then go for multiplayer instead.
4.Replayability
Nothing to say. This game can be replay over and over again and still keep you on th e seat for a long time. Upgrades, playing with friends further increase its replay value. Also there is a game whcih you can compete with another player. Strange enough, I play chapter 1 over and over again cause I more like a person that love upgrading weapons first before proceeding to the next chapter rather than rush the game, which still good to some rush gamers.
5.Multiplayer
Its simple, very efficient if you play it on LAN. I played and teseted the LAN with two of my friends, all are Resident Evil hardcore fans
6.Price
Because its still new on the shelf, its a very expensive game. For US dollar, its nothing. But in Malaysia Ringgit, its a burn to not your pocket but the entire pants. But once you owned the game. You will never let it go!
Final:Overall
Excluded the price tag, its a game that will suck you in. I din't mention the storytelling cause Resident Evil always comes up something fresh and new idea in a story, it takes a gamer to play the game him/herself.
