Great game, but is not a survival horror game like the previous games, more like action.

This game starts out looking like the other resident evil games, (Survival horror, leaving the player in desperate need of ammo) then changes into more action-based game play and involves a lot more effortless killing, so if you are a fan of the original games, you might be disappointed. After mowing down legions of "Zombies" you will be either sadly disappointed, or addicted to the action-packed game play.

Once you have beaten the game, you can unlock harder difficulties and infinite ammo, eliminating the whole "Survival horror" part of the game, but the harder difficulties will cause even the most skilled resident evil expert to struggle against the unforgiving enemies.

As for customization, you can upgrade your weapons, unlock new ones, and buy new skins for single player using Microsoft points but that's about it... Also you can buy new modes (Lost in Nightmares, Desperate Escape, and Mercenaries Reunion) and characters for Mercenaries Reunion.
