Resident Evil 5 moves from the surivial horror genre to just another shooter.
Okay nothing bad about the Graphics. The graphics are beutiful to look at.Everything is totally detail. Beutiful enviroments with alot of detials and the same can be said about the Characters.
The gameplay is not perfect i think it would be if capcom would have allowed you to move and shoot your gun at the same time. It should had been intregraded in the game since they made RE5 to play like Gears of war.So basicly when you fire your weopon you have to stand still and shoot.I dont know if it was me or if there was a way to to upgrade Chris or Sheva so they be able to carry more stuff,which is very anoying.Because of that i would rapidly run out of ammo.Other than that the controls are very responsive.Well RE5 is not about survival horror anymore its a shooter, you just shoot it out with the enemies. The battles are not bad but shoot outs are not what RE series was known for.So yea on the gameplay is not bad.
Now the story on RE5 is not shakespear,and I dont think previous installments were sophisticated plots and RE5 doesnt try to change that which I dont mind and iam not dissapointed.I kinda was expecting that same type of story telling. No iam not one of those gamers who skips through the cut scenes but yea the story is a bit cheezy and predictable. Which I dont mind,but yea thats Capcom needs to work on their story telling out of all the RE games Re5 was the most predictable.
Okay Resident Evil is another type a shooter now,for what it is,its a good game not perfect.Yea iam with all those RE fans who think RE should had stayed on the horror genre. I dont think the Horror gengre is last gen trend but Capcom could had perfected it. Even i got ideas how RE5 could had been with zombies without guns. Re5 its the start of new type of RE5.
