A great addition to the series.

There was a lot hype surrounding this game, but does it live up to the hype. To begin with there is a high quality of graphics that is maintained throughout the entire game form the small details such as bullet holes on the walls when you miss a shot to the details on the clothes of Chris and Sheva and the enemies. There is also a great soundtrack that fits in perfectly to create certain moods at certain moments in the game. Gameplay controls are not that hard to master with the only thing that may throw you off is the fact that Chris is right handed and Sheva is left handed which may cause players accuracy to go down by a certain percentage. the amount of ammo available throughout the game is just perfect where as with Resident Evil 4 I thought that there was not enough to get you through some areas of the game. The storyline is good and also has a couple of twists that you may have figured out half way through the game. I am also extremely glad to see the mercenaries minigame from Resident Evil 4 back and adds a great multiplayer experience without having to go online. The online multiplayer however could be slightly improved on as it is not a case of dropping in instantly to the game, you have to either wait for the host to finish the chapter or die before you can join a game. Overall this a great game that would be good to have in your collection of games at home.
