Resident Evil meets hollywood glamor conclusion.... Something very forgetable...

Heres my review of the largely popular but "FLAWED" Resident Evil 5. I know what you the reader must be pondering right now at this vary moment in time... Is he really gonna bash on this game? This game of all games with its over the top quality game play and many many MANY hours of zombie killing fun? The answer is yes, yes, and also yes to all of those. After spending many upon many hours playing the game or trying to play the game due to quiting because of the lack of excitement factor that the series was known for that I came to this conclusion all together... The franchise's heart had been removed for pretty much a pretty looking run gun cheap thrill ride of a game.

In my view, what this franchise was known for has been removed and replaced with this highly polished cheap arcade game in survival horror clothing. I fully enjoyed the fact in the past I could pick up any copy of resident evil and I already know what I could expect from the game in general. Which seriously was a no brainer really. I already knew that I would probably encounter a puzzle that either stump me completely until I realized I left the item I needed two doors down from where I was or possibly a boss monster that was ungodly creepy looking and could kill me with one blow if I allowed it too. But in the end I would try not to break my game controller and try to figure it out a solution and press forward and love the game for what it was.
But this mockery of a Resident Evil game didn't have any of that... What it did have was lots of hallway's with beasts in it or open area's with beasts all around you and thats pretty much was it. Resident Evil 5 pretty much reminded me of h.u.n.k's bonuses feature at the end of Resident Evil 2 way too much and I just hated it too much that I couldn't really enjoy this game.

The good side of this game was just the amazing looking characters and monsters and the numorious bonus features that came with it. But the bad parts of the game out weighed the good aspects in my view. I seriously hated the stiff controls, even through Resident Evil always had pretty horrible controls through out the series but still. If they are gonna make a third person run and gunner like GearsOfWar without all the cover then they shoulda made the movement more smoother and the gun aim system different as well.

Even through I love the series, I hope they won't continue with this such path again. If they do in my personal view I think that they should revamp the entire system all together and go with the a true tactical assault game that this game tried and failed to do.

Anyways thanks for reading my review and I hope you have a present day.
