A lot of fun, but not very scary at all

The gameplay is a lot like RE 4's even with all the tentacled Las Plagas people. There are a couple new enemies along with mutations of Las Plagas from the last game. Overall, it is shorter than the last couple of Residetn Evil, which isn't necessarily bad (Code Veronica dragged on forever, remember?) Anyway, the game is short and sweet, and the addition of the mercenaries mode and co-op is just an excellent addition. You can choose to play the -story co-op or solo, and mercenaries is just a free-for-all killing bad guys with your friend or by yourself. I would suggest this at least as a rental or a must buy for those of you, like myself, who have been playing it from the beginning on the good ol Playstation 1. One of my only problems is the inventory screen, which is a bit of a pain unless you use your d-pad assigned to 4 different items as hot keys. Otherwise, you'll be going in there in the middle of a fight, getting your butt handed to you by whoever you're fighting, and especially bosses.
