Not too bad but some changes were for the worse
On the second play through you are able to seclect any level you want unlike any other res game, while this sounds great but i don't think is at all, add that to the fact you can quit a level and keep everything u did to that point makes it a vey easy playing experiance, you can go into several levels harvest money and items to sell then quit out without even having to fight an enemy quit and save thus upgrade your weapons way to fast and become a killing machine before you should be.
They should have stuck with the same res format, being that you can only save by using a typewritter and only being able to buy weapons/upgrades at curtain points, this adds to the desperation of the game and puts in more close to death experiances' wondering if you can make it to the next save point before you run out of ammo which is what makes res a fun game to play.
I still like the game and find it fun but much too easy, nor has it the replay value of previous res games, If i could change it i would make 4 simple changes: 1) Bring back the typewritters. 2) If you qiut before you reach a save point you loose everything (thats as it should be). 3) Bring back the merchant. 4) Remove the ability to choose which level you can play after you complete the game, (It is too tempting just to play the final chapter over and over thus takin away from the reply value).
