Not as bad as the reviews say, Co-op is alot of fun, looks great.

Wasn't sure what to expect from this game after reading multiple reviews that gave it low marks. I have been a fan of Resident Evil since its first installment and I preferred the older grittier games. While I don't agree fully with what has been done with the series, I am actually quite enjoying this game. I am playing through on Veteran through Co-op and it is alot of fun, maybe I would not enjoy it as much if i had to put up with an AI companion. While the camera system is flawed, it is still playable, and I think the game looks quite good. One thing I have to say is that the length of the game is impressive, I mean I am playing about 12 hours now and I am only coming to the end of the 2nd of 4 campaigns. I know that it is padded with "Survive the Zombie" scenario but all in all its not a bad game. I played Dead Space 1 and 2 and I have to say these are what Resident Evil should be like. They remind me of the Resident Evil of old, a proper gritter and scary game where you need a box of nappies, because you will definitely mess your pants. At the end of the day, Capcom need to go back to the old Resident Evil, no ammo drops from enemies, no boxes to smash for ammo or health. Bring back the game where every bullet you found counted and you held your breath as you entered every new room for the fear if what was behind the door. Resident Evil 6 is a good enjoyable game but not the Resident Evil of old and the Resident Evil that made the series famous.
