This is a non-biased review for those on the fence. Reminds me of Dead Island with alot of cut scenes.

User Rating: 4.5 | Resident Evil 6 PS3
The main reviewer was right, this game has alot of cut-scenes. It'll randomly pause and change your view and you'll be constantly relocating yourself along with repositioning. This isn't my cup of tea, but I can see how for a lot of in depth gamers would like this sort of cinema. First, I hate that you can't hit a button to bypass by a cut scene. It becomes long, and when you play your constantly paused by cut scenes and button mashing which reminds me of that one game from the early 80's I think was called "Dragon Slayer". It's a sequence of button mashing and an involved story line, which to me had me literally yawning and needing some coffee. The story is ok, but I'm more of a play through storyline gamer than watching one progress. I also am not a fan of linear games, infact, the last one I liked was Dragon Age. Even that one gave you different locations to travel, but not RE6. I'm not hating the game, I'm just saying its not for me. I like the open world sandboxes, and this game is scripted every second throughout it. What's my rating about, well here let me break it down for you:

Graphics: Graphics are good, but the shakiness of the cutscenes is annoying which heavily brings down the game for myself. Overall I'd rate the graphics a B+. Night time occurrences are somewhat annoying, and choppy.

Gameplay: Oh man, come on, why so many cut scenes? Why the constant melee and same routines? I'm uncertain if these developers had no scrutiny or advice from outside sources. Like I said, it's like Dead Island but a soap opera decided to buy it and put its own spin on it.

Controls: This is the biggest concern on my part, you're constantly being put in and out of situations beyond your control. Don't get me wrong, it's fine at first, but when your constantly twirling the L3 & R3 buttons while mixing up the X,O, Square, and Triangle, it's like the developers wanted to dislodge the consumers and add a few more hours to the game.

Sound: This was great, I loved it. But I was constantly anticipating the cut scenes, which probably had me loathing the upcoming events.

Overall: Yeah, well, I'd wait for a friend or join gamefly for a month (which is what I did) to get it from them. Again, I can see how many who are in depth gamers would like it, but this is just like watching a movie and hitting a few buttons in between.
