If you like RE5 and third person shooter games in general, you're going to love this, might even be scared at some point

The guy bellow me, PeterDuck whatever, is completely irresponsible and biased in his review. Don't believe him. I played the part that he's talking about, the one with the jumping zombies and whatnot. First of all, those jumping zombies are supposed to be countered with the left click just at the moment before they jump, or be dodged with siderolls, so him complaining about those zombies being annoying is his own fault. Secondly, do you guys know which part that is in the game? It's the FIRST mission of Leon's campaign where you're supposed to run away from a bunch of zombies! Of course there will be a ton of enemies and jumping zombies running for your neck. You're suppose to run away to the next location! It's standard Resident Evil procedure that's been missing since RE Code Veronica! And besides Chris's and Jake's campaign is completely different. It has old enemies from RE5 and it's more suited to people like him that don't know survival horror.

I'm here to tell the truth and not just spew nonsense. You people can choose to not believe me, but I played the game and it's a great value for your money.

I played the game for 15+ hours now and I'm only with Jake's campaign. The combat is great and it allows for variety, and it's definitely longer than other games that's on the market nowadays that's just 5 to 6 hours of singleplayer short.

It's not a perfect game. There are flaws with it, eg the QTEs sometimes are annoying and super quick. I have some of the time died by it but the good thing is once you die, you don't have to go back 10 minutes of gameplay to repeat that QTE sequence, you start right before the QTE starts, which is a great thing.

And one thing I must say, I played all the RE games, even the 3DS Revelations game and know that RE has been actionized since RE4 and has been more of an action game, with Revelations to compensate for it. I played RE6 knowing full well that RE6 is an action game involving the C-virus, and that's a main theme of Resident Evil: virus that mutates people into monsters and not just about zombies in general, although in Leon's campaign there's a lot of them. I did not expect scares when I played it, but in the middle of the game, I was surprisingly scared by this one slimy monster. I believe it's named the Rasklapanje. Also there's this one guy in Jake's campaign called the Ustanak. It's a nod to Nemesis from RE3 and it is relentless. Once you see these monsters, run as fast as you can. These things will hunt you down and you have to run away. This scare is what's been missing from RE since the third game, and I'm glad it's back to haunt my nightmares again.

4 campaigns that takes 30 hours to complete them all + 1000 collectibles will make you play this for a long time. This, Tomb Raider and Bioshock Infinte among others are one of the best games of 2013 to have in my opinion. Can't wait for Bioshock, Watch Dogs and Last of Us for PS3. Meanwhile I'll continue RE6's other campaigns. This is going to be a long ride.
