No way it's a 4.0 and No way it's a 10.
Just a background on me: loved deeply RE4, I was ok with RE5, and I'm ok with RE6 except I think it's better than 5 in terms of variety. Ok so I am not sure how gamespot can give them a 4.0 because the graphics are very sexy and nice, even for 2013. When getting a game I always wonder what is the replay value (will I play this again once I beat it?). And here it is extremely well. You can replay 3 campaigns which 5 chapters each. Therefore that blasts the single pathway same campaign we see in previous versions. The cutscenes and button mashing required during them I don't see as a horrible problem (I mean I'd rather pay attention to a game than leave to the bathroom while a cutscene is playing). Now one thing that FRUSTRATED me was HOW DUMB my A.I was (especially Sherry with Jake). If you are dying, she will 4 times outta 5 run around not knowing you are hurt. I was also frustrated with deaths that made no sense. For example if I am standing on a track which divides two separate train tracks, I get killed...I have to be completely on the other side, even though the mid area is wide and the train never touches it. I HATE ONE HIT KILLS opponents can do on you. Think about it, your playing, never faced this enemy before, your thinking "how can I kill it", and then BOOM your dead. That just ruined your S rank chance. This game doesn't deserve a PERFECT score or a HORRIBLE SCORE. I've played worse games than this BELIEVE ME, which gamespot rated higher.
