Very Good

Resident Evil is back and it's better than ever, so to make this review simple, I'll say that the graphics are still amazing as always, the sound effects, voice acting and music are superb, the controls are fluent that I don't understand why the reviewer for this game has any problem with it, the camera is like RE 5 with more freedom, and the story plays out in different timelines that ends up perfectly in the end for the 3 different characters in the game. To help with the zombie hunting/ monster killing, you are allowed to equip skills that will make your life easier. This skills consists of better aim, more loot, more damage from melee or guns, yeah you get the idea. You have to collect points from killing enemies to unlock them. After you finish 1 character, you get this cool mode called Agent Hunt, where you become one of the enemies in the game and hunt down other player trying to survive. Mercenaries modes are back too so expect to kill a lot of zombies while rushing through the time limit. There's and extra Ada Wong mission but I haven't unlock it yet, so I don't exactly know how it will play out, but I'm sure it's going to be awesome. And I'm not kidding when I say that each characters play differently than the other that it feels like I'm playing more than 1 game, which is why I'll tell you guys how these characters plays out. Well, first time I played the game, you're introduced to the Tutorial section as Leon. At first, I though it was a whole chapter, not a tutorial. The time it takes to finish the tutorial alone is 20 minutes, the same as how you finish a mission in RE 5. After I finish the tutorial, I straight away played Leon's Campaign and I was pleasantly surprised with how it played out. It brings back the atmosphere for the old RE 2 and 3 games with a lot of zombies now not just wanting to grab you, but to run and pounce on your still living head. And it's not just 1 zombie btw, it's 10 of them at the same time. I played the first chapter and encounter more variety of zombies: fat zombies, screamers and finally a group of zombies reminiscence of the old crimson head from RE 1. I finished his first chapter in 3 hours. I've got 4 more to go and the other 5 campaigns for Chris and Jake. That's when I thought "wow, this game is freaking huge!" Next I tried Jake's campaign, and it was so different from Leon's. It played like Uncharted with the constant running and shooting, and there's this 1 recurring ugly Nemesis esque boss that can change the weapons in his arm. Chapter 2 and 3 includes a little sneaking into the mix, and 3's location is surprisingly creepy. The mission takes place in this completely white room that disturbs me somehow. Needless to say, by the end I finish his 5 chapter for a total of 9 hours. Overall, it's extremely satisfying. Chris's campaign plays out like Modern Warfare, and it is the most generic of them all, but it does have varieties that doesn't make it too generic. I can say it's like RE 5 all over again, only this time with more scares than that. For instance, that giant snake from RE 1 returns, and it can turn invisible. The chapters that seriously takes the cake as the most exciting is 4 and 5, the other 3 are just the appetizer. As creepy as the snake monster is, it doesn't compare to this 1 monster in chapter 4 that is is so disgustingly creepy, that I don't want to fight it like the other enemies in his chapter. It's like a mixture of ET/the leechman/Alien and it makes me sick just looking at how that thing walks. URGH. Overall, the first 3 chapters are quite actionized but after that it brings the suspense back, so it's okay. I haven't completed Leon's campaign yet because I'm still in chapter 2, but I can say that the cemetery setting and the old church setting, combined with a relentless onslaught of naked running zombies lunging at you while you have limited supply of herbs, will bring a few people nightmares just like the old Resident Evil. I'm looking forward to finishing this chapter and play Ada's to see how different it is. For a little extra, if you guys think the game is too easy, then you haven't play with the No Hope difficulty. In that mode, prepare to die. A lot. So there's my review of it. I hope you people can see that this game has a lot to offer and not just blindly believe in what the negative reviewer says. In other words: believe in your own ability to think on your own two feet and not becoming a tool.
