I had some doubts as I was standing in line minutes before the midnight release because of the bad reviews it had received a couple days prior. I say the game is easily a 9/10. The game in IMO would have gotten a 10/10 but the controls at times were choppy. The story so far has captivated me, and I almost feel like I am in a Kick A$$ RE movie while playing the game. The graphics are amazing and some of the best I have seen in an RE game since RE4. I have played the RE series since day one on PS1 and I feel that they have really moved the series in a great direction.
All in all everyone has their own opinion about the game. While it may not suit everyones fancy but I definitley am loving It. Also IMO this was a better game (control wise than Raccoon). I have yet to try the online features of this game, but so far the single player campaign is doing it for me!!
