Make up you own mind, if you are a RE fan yes is worth playing, and that's why is getting a poor review because is RE you expect always something amazing and so much better then the last one, is this game were the first of the series would got a 8 on the review minimun.

And yes gamespot lately has made in my opinion very bad reviews in many games, because they show us in the review that the game is not woth playing, that is boring and its not true, its very much fun to play, its got action, great cinematics, story(the part I am most interested). So go there and play it, and the you can decide.

You got one story from three different points of view, I thoght that was great, also all the hero's of resident evil in one game,

I think is a great addition to the series it follows up the other games in terms of the story.
