The Dreamcast was an ill-fated machine with not enough support, but code veronica proves it should have succeeded. :(

Code Veronica was one of the finest games released for Dreamcast in it's short run of life. It was a major blockbuster hit on a system at it's height of technological prowess. So it's a real mystery as to how with all the amazing graphical ability of this title it didn't have a larger following.

The storyline is solid eerie and scary like an RE title should be. The a.i. is nuthin' to write home about, but cmon, these are zombies....what do you expect?

The gameplay mechanic continues to follow the inane d-pad control scheme which baffles me. you have an analog stick....use it capcom!

Oh well, code veronica was the high point of the series for me, and dreamcast's edition was easily the best version released.
