Operation Raccoon City is definitely something different from their previous titles. "Outbreak" comes closest to being similar with ORC because it requires the cooperation of either AI's or players to successfully complete the mission. The cons are it's not as scary as the other RE titles because players can revive each other thus negating the "stay alive" and "conserve resources" instincts that you usually bring into Resident Evil game. The Pros are the online collaboration is very well done compared to the "Outbreak series" and RE:5 multiplayer. The game is very well paced and the different varieties of abilities that different characters have can affect the outcome entirely which makes it fun and different to play it over and over again. I am surprised how the makers/writers are able to implement the new characters into the storyline of RE2 that well. I think RE fans would appreciate this game much more than players who are just trying new titles here and there. Overall, it's a great off sequel game that the makers of Resident Evil bring to quench the thirst for fans who are awaiting for the 6th.
