Resident Evil Outbreak Breakthrough or Bust?
Anyways Offline the game can be bland and boring but is still enjoyable if you know the levels and even if you don't the AI and prove to have more intelligence than you think. Normally you will have 1 Ally follow you none stop and one leave let the one who wants to leave, Leave they normall return with key items making the level has as long. They are also very repsonsive when asking for items and at tiimes random hand over items you need. Get mauled by a zombie got no herb? No prob CIndy will offer you one in like 30 seconds if you wait or you can request it yourself. With only 4 slots to hold thing it can make teamwork essciental but the drag is you AI almost never holds your stuff like Cindy will always swap out a gun for ammo so if she was suppose to hold your gun you have to go back for it. The Levels can be tough aswell becasue they are very challenging and sometimes unrealistic but if you plat RE you will get that.
Online is where the game gets pretty good but not always you will play with four HUMAN controlled partners which are alot smater but can be dumb sometimes they don't know the level take a key item and won't give it up so you have to wait till they die or they won't give it up. There is usally only around 50 people online even today so you can find a game anyways, Sadly once you start the game you cannot talk to your team unless they live close and you call them or have a router and can cling to msn and the game. I think the game would have done better on gamecube since it has 4 controller ports and everyone would be in the same room. The games as faults but if these key things qould be added it would work alot better.
1. Keyboard or Voice chat in game
2. Increased Zombie agression and numbers.
3. More Non-Linear Levels
